To Whom it May Concern:
My name is Roxanne Mayorga and I have been a victim of an internet scam. I had advertised on Craigslist for a roommate and received a response from a girl by the name of Debbie F. Moyer that claimed to be interested in being my roommate. She claimed that she was from South Africa and was coming to the states. She wanted to send a deposit to hold the room. When I received the deposit it was in form of Money Grams totaling $5800. She said that $2250 was for her shipper and if I could send the money to her. I questioned it and figured that the money gram was legit. I mailed the money grams and a few moments later found out that the money grams were invalid and I was charged for the $2350 that was withdrawn, plus charged for them being returned through my bank. I was told to send the money gram to a Cassandra Z. Davila-Rodriguez at 185 SW 27th Ave, Pembroke Pines, FL 33028. I want to report this so that I can try to get my monies back or at least try to prevent this from happening to anyone else. Please let me know if there is anything else I need to do. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply:) .I would have loved to discuss this rental over the phone but i already cancelled my contract with service provider because i am moving to the States :( ,I am super busy with big move and a sick mother in the hospital(Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital) ,she's very sick with cancer of the breast :( But my sister will be
arriving from Durban to look after her when i leave. I have to take my chances with this rental because not risking at all is the worst mistake,especially now that online transaction is a problem, i hope you can understand me ,I am sorry if that sound rude, just being careful and want to be sure i can trust you as much as you can trust me. I'm quite comfortable with the available room and Ideally a 6-12 months lease is fine, I am coming from Camps-Bay, Cape Town South Africa and will be arriving on April 13th but rent can stand counting from April 1st. Attached is a picture of me and a friend, i am the one in black dress :)
I'm 29yrs old, an elementary school teacher and divorced female, I am educated (Associates degree), a good Christian,5"5 feet ,black hair,very low key and relaxed to live with. I DON'T smoke nor drink but don't mind if flat mates do. I prefer cleanliness than any other traits,I'm honest,neat,responsible,and hard working while I dislike lazy,messy and uncaring people,am quiet and easy going.
I want you to know that I'll have my car shipped prior to my arrival,and little of my stuffs ,please let me know if there will be enough room for them?
Moreover,Let me also know how i can go about securing the place down before my arrival to show serious commitment as I will also be busy from next week preparing to come over as i plan to arrive soon. -
