Like the other complaint against Webnetsale, I came across my confirmation email for a credit card charge, but my email showed what I purchased..a membership with Skype. I called Skype to find out what level of service I had purchased and they told me I didn't have a purchase with them. They found a trial membership dating back to May 2011, and it ended there.

The scammers were smart--they didn't bill me until the trial ended. So I wouldn't think anything of it since I ordered with them. I expected to see a charge. My confirmation email said the credit card statement would label the charge as Webnetsale, and language on the email contained Skype and real Skype links. Again, doesn't raise any flags about the fraud. It's only now that I'm ready to use Skype (I didn't have a webcam when I ordered) that I contacted Skype to find out what level of service I had purchased so I would know what I had access to. I can't find anything on Webnetsales, other than the other complaint on this website. I wonder how many others have been scammed by this company.
