The website offerers repossessed cars at cheap prices advising they work with various banks and lease agencys to recover any outstanding finance on the cars

As a fool i went with heart over mind and purchased a car from the website which requested a direct bank transfer.

All seemed ok as they replied advising the car would be delivered on the following monday. Monday came and passed with no sign of the car I e-mailed the customer support team after an update as to when the car would be delivered and recieved a reply to log on to the account and check the status of the order.I logged on and nothing had changed from the original order time.I have e-mailed 5 times after with no reply.

1 week has passed and as the week went on I started to feel uneasy and started to do some online checks only to find the car I thought I had purchased was for sale at another garage in nottingham.looking at the pictures the were the exact same pictures used on repossessed-express.com website.I contacted the garage to be advised the car had been sold to a local company near to the dealer.

I did the above for a few cars on the website and confirmed to myself that all the pictures were taken from various other sites.

I have tried to log back in to my account on the website but the site has been removed I guess they have moved on to start a new web scam using a different name,

I have contacted the police but understand this was my stupidety and may not see the money again.

Please note there are no contact numbers on the website and all is communicated useing e-mail. I did notice if I put repossessed-express in to a google search there were no matches however if I used my browser address bar www.repossessed-express.com the site was displayed. Also any google searches for the above company may return a Yahoo notice board with 1 user advising they have purchased a car from the said site and all was recieved ok this looks to be part of the scam as the user is only a level 1 and made only this 1 post

Things I have learnt and hope to aid others

1 If it is too good to be true it is stands very high in this i normaly dont do this kind of thing i was just hooked and fixated on the purchase.

2 If you feel something is wrong it genraly is do some checks search the net for the registration number find if it is available elsewhere if so contact the them I wished i done the checks only took 10 minutes to confirm it was a scam.

3 If you feel all is ok ask to pay a small deposit until reciept of the car when the final transaction can be completed if they are not willing to accept this maybe there is something wrong that has been missed.

4 take the whole thing as a life lesson if you are scammed this or any other way follow the releveant channels contact the police and move on if the police resolve the issue and any money is returned nobody has died
