March of 2012, the owner received a phone call from Online Public Yellowpages about services and an outstanding invoice. I was told by the owner to return the phone call to tell them that there was an error and we never wanted or asked for their services. When I called the company back they told me that I could dispute the invoice once I went through their automated system to verify the mailing address ect. Three months went by without a word, and on June 28 I received an invoice in the mail for, according to their invoice, is a mini web page and a listing package for one year, including interest charges in the amount of $627.39. Our company would never want these services. We never wanted to sign up with this company. We have no idea any kind of services were being authorized. We don't even know what type of services this company is giving us. If they claim I authorized services on their automated system it was ONLY because I was told that I needed to in order to dispute the charges. We were trying to dispute the invoice they were trying to send us. If there are current listings with Online Public Yellow Pages we want those services cancelled immediately. We do not want to pay this invoice for something we had no intention or need for. I never would have authorized these services with Online Public Yellow Pages, we didn't even use services this year with our local yellow pages phone book directory. They have now threatened to send us to a 3rd party collection agency. I filed a complaint with the Washington State Atorney General and the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Buerau. I recommend others do the same against this company!!!
