I recieved numerous emails telling me there is a package sent from nigeria for me with an enclosed amount of $800,000. They even said who it was sent from a Ms. Dena Ketterer, now I do not know these people! I ignored it for quite some time, then thought to look into it more, maybe a mix up or something? So I called the "fed ex" telephone number provided and this guy odibo jerry answered and was very clear that I needed to wire $50.00 to him in order to recieve this package. I did not send the money as he rudly asked;but discussed the situation with to my husband and right away he said it was a scam!! Doing my research I noticed that this very common, and I would like to know what actions there are in order to protect my identity. Also how to figure out if any damage has been done already. Very nervous and clueless as what to do?
