On Jan. 22nd, 2012, I borrowed $500.00 from Pepper Cash and was told by their representative that by authorizing them to take monthly payments out of my bank account for $175.00/month that my payoff: loan and interest would be $676.00.

Each month...for three consecutive months, Pepper Cash withdrew $175.00 from my bank account as I anticipated. In May, 2012, I expected them to withdraw $150 as that would meet my payoff total of $675.00

However, much to my horror, Pepper Cash withdrew $173.75.

Then in June I was horrified again as Pepper Cash withdrew $156.25 from my account.

In July Pepper Cash again withdrew funds from my account; this time for a different amount: $147.50.

It's obviously shady business when a so-called company changes (over a span of four consecutive months) the dollar amount on a payment plan.

I called Pepper Cash today and very politely asked them to explain the charges...to explain why they they had taken - stolen actually - $1002.50 out of my account.

Their reply was the $675 payoff was only for returning customers, then the rep asked me if I wanted to apply for another loan.

I told him, "No." what Pepper Cash is doing is violating federal law, operating across state lines and charging customers more than 100 Percent interest on a 3-month loan. I told him I was going to the FBI.

However, that fact or threat or however he perceived it did not faze this broken-English speaking individual whatsoever.

He then proceeded to tell me that even with the July payment I still owed Pepper Cash another $175...that Pepper Cash will be withdrawing funds out of my account again in August (and again I expect them to attempt to either pull that money out through another company's name or by changing the dollar amount). The Pepper Service Rep. then said that my repayment would be close to or more than $1,200 to Pepper Cash for their January, 2012 loan to me of $500.

People of California, do like your neighbors are doing, draft a petition to ban payday loans, go to the polls and put these ruthless bastards out on the street.

Then have your State Attorney General prosecute these slime balls to the fullest extent of the law.

Tell your friends, put it on Facebook, tell everyone you can Pepper Cash is the worst of the worst.

If you've been ripped off by Pepper Cash call your banker today and file a claim against them, then call the FBI and file a complaint against them, then call your Attorney General's Office and file a complaint with them, then call the State's Better Business Bureau and file an official complaint against them.

Come on people, Get Mad, put the heat on these pole cats and run them out of town...out of state...out of the country.
