I saw an ad about a home based business. They emailed me the basics of it (I have that in print in front of me-dated 12/5/10) It was described as a simple process, with them doing most of it for you. You had to sign up, pay a registration fee for the website set-up etc and then they built you a website, which then helped to promote others like Amazon. I could even select some preferences, and add on as required/preferred. No packaging, no deliveries, no invoices to issue etc. You were just creating another Web-based 'vehicle' to attract punters to certain sites. You gained commissions from the sales via your website with its links to other major suppliers websites. It all sounded easy enough. It soon transpired that they wanted you to build on your website, and carry out some costly promotions, (up-grade promotional packs) all at quite a bit extra. I said NO, I'd rather see what reactions I experienced before going any further as I felt I'd invested enough to start off. No commission notices. Not a single cent was earnt through this. I didn't even get a thank you for participating, and using my money to fund their advertising!

They did not properly explain that this was predominantly advertising ion th US - a market I am unfamiliar with - and that they can do what they like with your website

This is just an out and out 'con'!
