I saw their ad in a local newspaper here in Thailand and it was an offer for IPADs and IPHONES. Price was reasonable and thus made inquiry. They replied and said that the goods are available. I went quiet for a while, told my bosses as their wifes are in the business of selling handphones and accessories. My bosses told me to make an order and thus, made an initial order of 4 IPHONE 4S 32G and 4 IPAD 2 32G. They requested for a US$3200 and I sent them the money via Western Union. They wrote back and told me that the package is held in customs and I need to pay US$1000 more but I wrote back and said I cannot afford it, so I bargained it down to US$600 and made a transfer this morning. They said they will send me a tracking number for my package and earlier I had it sent to me. It is from Cargo Air Limited, not FEDEX or DHL as they have stated. I believe I have been scammed. I sent the money through a bank, maybe that will help, I will see my bank tomorrow morning and approach them to make a case of it. Really bad people! This time they are working out of Dubai, so hopefully my bank will try to get Western Union to get hold of their details and we can at least inform the world of their scam. I will now contact the newspapers here on their Modus Operandi, at least prevent more for falling in their trap.
