As others have reported. I signed up to bid at one cent per bid, bid a few times (there are 100 cents in a dollar, right) so I might have used 50 cents. Then I opted for a "package" of $21 automatic bidding up to that limit. But when saw what I was actually charged on my credit card statement I figured it cost me all up $319.98 (two lots of $159.99). When I complained to ViaZiz after getting my credit card statement I was told that I had authorised this and used it on bids at the auction. Now the only auction I bid on closed at around $21.30 so I would like to know where my 31,998 bids ended up?
Wish I had seen this website before getting scammed like this. The bank not likely to refund anything as I "signed up" and didn't "get" the terms and conditions that supposedly told me what it would cost! Sign up to this site AT YOUR PERIL

  • Sis the thing is the terms dont even tell u specifically what it costs. I looked and it said "if you click on any offers your account will be charged for that offer" So it sounds like u guys are saying the offer didnt say what the cost was either. Therefore it could be an arguable defense with your bank. In other words not only was there an automatic charge that their hiding behind by saying it was in the terms but it appears it specifically said bidding package for $21.00. To me thats a different argument.
