I made the stupid mistake of thinking i could get my cousin a nice present for her 18th.... little did i know!! when i won the bid it asked for a payment the camera, postal, and a free 7 days membership i tried at this stage to click on terms and conditions and FAQs on the right of the page every time i did this a new payment page would open, so i tried the chat box the same thing happened i ended up with 7 tabs with requested payment. So i paid unfortunately as i did this i noticed it requested a printed copy of my card back and front, and proof of address then i had an uneasy feeling, so i opened the chat box which was now enabled as i had paid! and asked about subscriptions and fees the girl in the chat box sent me something that says £59.99 monthly. as i am a student i am on a tight budget so i phoned because i thought at least i could speak with someone and reason, the first one i couldn't hear at all, so i hung up and tried again to be told that i couldn't opt out of within the 7 days free trail that i was signed up because i had paid, and if i didn't want to pay the monthly fee i would have to pay a £35 cancellation fee. I asked the girl on the phone to cancel it just, which at this stage she said they couldn't, and she would email the links. I watched my emails as she said she had sent them nothing came in she said recheck in an hour, still nothing. I tried the chat again she said she resent them, which i am still waiting to receive, they also advised me to check my junk mail it seems Hotmail are well aware of this ziinga crowd. So I read a few reviews and took the option to cancel my card but i am afraid in case they can still access my bank account and take out the money i suppose it is simply a waiting and hoping game that they cant. I hope this helps some people, the minute u realise they have taken money out just cancel your card or your account! In future i will only pay via paypal.
