I recently (thought) signed up to become a Secret Shopper. I worked in a Restaurant that actually had them, as well as heard about companies that also have them and it sparked an interest into something I would like to do. I searched many websites to find secret shoppers in my Area and came across Detective Shopper LTD, a few weeks later I was sent an Email to confirm my Name, Address, State, City, Zip Code, etc. and that I would be sent a check in a few weeks. About a couple weeks later I received a package through FedEx, that included a paper, with an email and number to call...along with a check for $2,800. I checked my Emails to see what it was about, and UNREAD was an email from Detective Shopper LTD explaining the task I was going to be given. I was responsible for cashing/depositing the check and sending $2,400 (through MoneyGram) to someone else, but my JOB was to go into Walmart and observe the way they helped me and I was to report back to them with full detail. Keeping the rest as profit ($250, plus whatever was was left over after MoneyGram charges.) I did not think anything suspicious because on that day I was emailing them back and forth about the "JOB" at hand because I had a few questions as to what EXACTLY I had to do (Because this was my first Secret Shopper Job) I even asked my bank and told me the money is there (and I checked my bank account, and it was) so I went on and did the "JOB!"
3 days later, (TODAY) I check my Bank Account and I am -$2,599.75!

COMPLETE SCAM. I have emailed them in regards to the situation, and NOW they do not respond!
