I just received a charge on my Discover of $97.88 from AuraVie for a product I did not order or receive. I bought a free sample kit for the sole price of postage which cost me $4.95. I received the free sample. I was told when I complained about the new charge that I should have called their 800 number and cancel my account. When I called their 800 number, the recording said that I would receive "no further charges" but they were keeping the $97.88 charged on June 15, 2012 because I did not call and cancel the account that they opened for me and did not give me any advice that this was happening to me. Apparently, they opened an account for me which cost $97.88 per month with no products forthcoming or ordered by me except for the "free" samples. I found no small print instructions in the sample kit AuraVie sent me. I contacted Discover Card investigative services and they gave me a temporary credit for the suspected fraudulent charge. They are investigating this as a fraud.
