Selling a 2010 13.2" Macbook on Craigslist. A woman contacted me by the name of Aiyanna Smith. She said she wanted to buy it for her daughter in college. She couldn't come to see the computer because of her work schedule but she could text. Her daughter was in college and she wanted me to do her a favor by shipping it to her. I agreed saying that once the money was sent to me via paypal, I'd send out the macbook. The next morning i got an email from "Paypal@Service" saying that the money was deducted and good to go as soon as I emailed a facilitator the tracking number. The EMAIL looked legitimate so I proceeded to send the computer. At the post office, a kind lady warned me saying that I should double check to make sure it wasn't a scam. I told her it was through paypal and it looked okay. She said she'd hold the package until the end of the day just in case. Once I got home I double checked the E-Mail and did some google searches to be on the safe side. Here's what I found:

The Email "Paypal@Service" was the NAME of the sender. The ADDRESS of the sender was [email protected]
I thought "That's strange.." So I looked up UK7.NET. Its a free email service provider. Anyone can choose a name and email address to put in front of this UK7.NET. This is when I decided to Google search the names and telephone numbers of the people I've been talking to. Aiyanna Smith, Daniel Lucas and 724-964-6638. That's when I found someone else's post about being scammed out of $1500 from the same person.

Whoops! Luckily I was refunded all money spend (minus about $10 for packaging that I used) by the local post office. Thank you kind lady at the post office!
