I noticed Sunset Publications was charged $49.95 on my credit card, so I called to cancel. They told me I had agreed to it and they have the recording. I have phoned them three different times and tried to cancel. Finally, I asked them to play the recording. They played it, but I know I did not finish the conversation the way they had it recorded. I have been "almost" scammed by a company like this before, but made sure they cancelled. I do recall someone calling and speaking extremely fast to me and me stopping them at the end and telling them NO I don't read magazines anyway and DON'T want this charged. They stopped their recording before any of this information when they played it for me. I can not afford to pay $49.95 each month. Sheez. This is just ridiculous. I've spoken to the same woman, each time I've called. She does not even speak English well and when I've ask to speak with her Supervisor, she tells me I already have. She's a rude woman, who I know is just the scam artist and I must find a way to stop this. My husband will kill me if he knows this is going on. I'd love to be able to resolve this without costing me more. Especially for magazines I just toss in the trash. Can anyone give me a step to take regarding this scam? HELP PLEASE!!
