Complaint 131407 Details

Ordered products relift xs and Derma Science in South Africa. Product advertised as free samples and only shipping had to paid. Product was ordered in May, and as yet not received. Erroneous amounts have been debited off my Credit card, 1st amount last week was ZAR867 and yesterday an amount ZAR767.34. I contacted First National Bank South Africa and was informed that these transactions are fraudulent, the bank will reverse the charges and has cancelled my credit card. They also informed me that the company operates under approximately 15 different names to their knowledge, and always debits an amount between ZAR700-ZAR900 from your account. They are not able to refund the initial charges of 2 x $5.95 for shipping. It is a huge inconvenience having to cancel your Credit card but at least the bulk of the fraudulent transactions will be refunded, and hopefully no further transactions will be made against my account. I never noticed anything about a subscription as many of you have stated and certainly did not agree to that, nor have I received any further correspondence from the company mentioning anything about a subscription or received an invoice for the amounts they debited.
