This scam was the landlord was out of town in Europe setting up his new business. He had a house to rent on 14705 92 Avenue NW Edmonton Alberta. Although i wanted to see the house, the only time his friend could meet me was when i could not be there. I was to send him 50 percent of the deposit money and his friend Mark would meet us at the house and give us the keys as we needed are trying to find a rental place fairly quickly. His friend Mark never showed up when we were to meet although Terry said he was there for 1 hour waiting for us. I told him that I would not send him any money until I saw the place but he promised all was legit and I sent it the day I was to see the house. Terry is still trying to get the other 50 percent or $662.00 US deposit from me. I have told him that I won't send him anymore money until I get keys and i see the place. I doubt he will e-mail me. The advertisement was in the Edmonton Journal.
