This company based in USA offered a free trial of Acai Berry, all you had to do was to pay the postage, they claim that when you submit your card details they state that you will be charged £60 per bottle if you do not cancel within 14 days. No free trial was received and after 2 months I had forgotten all about it. My bank rang me to ask if i had authorised this company to take money out of my account, which amounted to £60 per month to which I replied no I had not. I then received a bottle of this Acai berry today for which I have now been charged £180 for in total. I have contacted this company today and told them I had never received the original bottle, which probably stated that I would be charged for subsequent orders - how very convenient!!! They said they would refund one amount if I did not dispute the fraudulent theft from my account. Website is [email protected] and their telephone number which goes to the USA is 0121 343 9889. I have since read about this scam. As I did not receive the initial free sample, I had forgotten about it until my bank informed me. I was unable to cancel this account within 14 days as I did not receive the initial sample, which is obviously a deliberate act to con people.
