Oh, I just don't know where to start. This guy says his name is Paul Anderson and he is construction engineer - lives in Allentown PA. Sets up profiles for free on online dating sites (match, zoosk), is super sweet in his emails - very long emails. Has 10 year old daughter named Sharon. Grammar starts out fine and then as email exchanges continue grammar becomes very poor. Says he travels a lot for work; goes to Nigeria for a construction bridge or road project. Calls or texts from the following phone numbers: 484-258-9240; 2347061089464; 2348082960850. After he was there about a week he said his wallet, cash, phone and credit card were stolen. Emails always have a lot of pet names "sweetie, baby, boo, princess, darling..."; says he can stop looking now that he's found you, wants to marry you and be a family, has fallen in love, etc. Likes to send youtube videos of music. I never really fell for it because he just came on a bit strong and I don't think you can fall in love with someone you haven't met. But when he said he was booking his flight back to the US and wanted to connect through my city so we can met, I started thinking maybe he was real. I decided to do a little research and imagine my surprise when I entered his phone number in bing and saw the report on scambook. It never got to the point that he asked me for money, but based on what others on here have said it looks like that was just days away. I am totally embarassed and can't believe I started to fall for it......I'm putting my story out here as I am very thankful for the others who put their story here so I didn't make a huge mistake.

Terri, thank you for taking the time to report "Paul" I have been in contact with him as well. His profile pictures are very believable and the bit about flying into my town before he returns home after his trip was a nice touch as well.
What got me thinking he was fraud was this: He was at "the construction site" this morning (in Africa BTW) and everything was honkey dorey. I asked him to send a picture of himself at the construction. After that my next call was "I am sick and I will be in the hotel all day....really? Nahhhhh! I started researching him and found you. Thank so much.
He is still using the same Pennsylvania phone number and same email addy, just heads up for anyone else.
What got me thinking he was fraud was thiss. He was at "the consttrution site" this mornining in Afria BTW. WI asked him to send a icture od himself at the construction. So my next call was "I am sick and I will be in the hotel all day....really? Nahhhhh! I sarted reaserching him and found you. Thank so much. - He tried to hook onto me also, I almost fell for it until I realized how familiar this scam was. Thank goodness I found this information out before it was to late, not that I would given him a dime, I knew better. a lot of these scamers are on Tagged, My Space, although I have not come across any on FB. This guy is as smooth as apple pie, and just as sweet, but I noticed he lays low then, oh well, thank you for posting this here, feel sorry for his next victim.
