This product was ordered on 06/02/12. The person it was ordered for died in a car crash 2 days ago. After receiving notification that my account had been charged the full amount for the product. After reviewing the order record, I realized that this was the last day of the "trial" period, which states that the customer has 16 days to cancel the order and NOT be billed the full purchase price of the product at $98.16 USD. When I called customer service, I was informed that the trial period had expired, which it had not.
I was told that I needed to return the product in order to have my account refunded the full purchase price. I explained the situation to the customer care representative, Mellissa, but she insisted that the company advises customers who wish to cancel orders must do so WITHIN the 16-day trial period. After asking to speak with her superior, Frencheska Ryan, Ms Ryan was put on the phone. Again she insisted that I return the product in order to receive a refund to my credit account. I informed her that the company was in breech of contract. She replied with "I'm sorry you feel that way." and hung up the phone. I have also emailed customer service to inform them of this issue. If my account is not immediately refunded, I will take further legal action, in addition to informing the Better Business Bureau.
I strongly advise anyone considering ordering from this company NOT to do so. They will be sorry and out of $98.16.
