i put a cell phone on craigslist. the buyer (Personal Information Removed) emailed me and said he was interested. he sent me fake paypal emails that said once the item was shipped that i would receive my money. i sent out the item and checked my email and had a email from [email protected] to check my emails from paypal that i should be getting my money when i send in the reciept to paypal so i did and paypal sent me a fake email saying i should be getting my money shortly. a day had passed and i hadnt received it so i called into paypal and they told me those were fake emails sent to me. so it was to late to cancel the shipment and he got my phone.
