I recieved a phone call from United Travel Services (1-800-843-5637) offering a promotional deal where if I paid 20% they would cover the rest of the costs for a trip to Florida or Mexico. The 20% was to also serve as a confirmation for this trip. Upon contacting them I became suspicious because of their complete lack of proper customer services. Was hung up on, questions not answered, giving me the run-around etc..
Today I found information on the internet which leads me to believe that this is a complete scam and so I am now dealing with my credit card company to try to rectify this withdrawl from my card.

  • I am dealing with the same problem. My husband was talked into it whilst I was at work, he just assumed I had entered something. We tried to work out something with our credit card company but they wanted us to deal directly with United and United just gave us the run around, said the conversation was taped etc.... now we are having issues trying to book this trip. I am fed up.
