The U.S. ph# you see on you caller ID is phony, the India based collection agencies are using Voice over IP phone numbers to purposely make their calls look like they're originating from the U.S. File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, your state attorney general's office, dispute the item if its on your credit report, and block the phone #s that are calling you or hang up on them.
