Subscribed to Dealday.com, supposed deals that are grapped as the price drops. While I was under the impression the first trial month was free my card was charged immediately for the subscription. I was looking to get a deal on an Ipad 3 Wifi + G4. The first thing I noticed is the MSRP they post is $999 while the same can be bought directly from Apple at $829. That is all fine if you can 'grab' the deal at a lower price. I monitered the prices as the deals came up for this item. Much to my surprise the deals were being 'grabbed' at $879.12, $853.95, $845.55, $862.34, $870.73. All prices above Apple's MSRP. Interesting I thought. As I continued to monitor I noticed that the 'grab' price was always one of the numbers listed above. Those 'grab' numbers repeat randomly over and over again. So....unless they find some fool believing these numbers are a bargin Dealday auto 'grabs' it and puts it back in the que. At these numbers if someone is fool enough to grab a 'deal' Dealday can go down to the Apple store and buy one, send it off. Is this a scam? Of course it is. Others note that they can't get responses and no one answers the phone...but then again one guy can run this thing from the beach and make a descent living on the subscriptions alone...without selling a thing. If something is too good to be true it usually is!!!!
