We ordered a "grocery coupon" program ($19.95) that we heard advertised over our local radio station. We did not buy into all the up-sales that the customer service representative was trying to sell us, but just stuck to the original offer. She told us we would receive a welcome packet in about 10 days. After a few weeks, we realized that we never received the packet as promised. I could not find my original info to contact them, and then after 2 more weeks, I got an automatic charge on my bank account for $12.97 from FreeShipping.com, their partner program. I got the phone number from my debit charge and called them. I told them to immediately cancel, and explained I never received any packet in the mail. She told me that I couldn't get the $19.95 refund unless I contacted Consumer Grocery Advantage. When I looked at the grocery website, the company has merged with another grocery rebate program, and they want you to sign up before seeing any information. I know that this will be an endless trap that I don't want any part of. I just want my $19.95 back, along with the $12.97, both which I have paid for and received absolutely NOTHING in return.
