My complaint is almost the same as all the others on this website. Started with a purchase of the the Grand Miramar with a written guarantee to sell our other timeshare. Contacted by both Royal Sun and Holiday Vacation. Lost $1800 to Royal Sun/Millenium Escrow before they disappeared, then another $5000 to Holiday Vacation. 4 months ago, I was contacted by Luis Sanchez Sifri stating Banamex Bank had contacted him to let him know there were still funds in the escrow account opened by Holiday and since our name was on that account and Holiday Vacation could not be located, they could release the money only to my husband and me. It was a very elaborate ruse where not only did I communicate with Luis, the supposed attorney, but also spoke with Enrique, a Banamex banker in Quintana Roo, than later, Guilernfo Velazquez, supposedly an International banker in the Centro branch of Banamex in Mexico City. Because this was such a "complicated" case, multiple fees, including a fee to "unfreeze" the escrow funds, taxes for the sale and purchase of the property, notary fees for all these different transactions, fees for a new title search and expenses for Luis to travel to Mexico City twice to meet with this banker. All told, another $12000! I finally wised up and hired an attorney I had dealt with previously and he invested these guys. I don't know how we could have been so guilable!!!
