My boyfriend and I found a MACBook Pro laptop on electbase.com for $740.00, which seemed like a very good deal. We were suspicious when we saw that we had to purchase an Amazon gift card and send it to Sandra S. Jackson, the 'support team leader' at the website, but we looked at a few good reviews of the website, and decided to go for it. It was a scam. Once they emailed to make sure we had sent them the gift card code correctly, they said the computer would arrive within 4 days. We never heard from them again, the gift card was redeemed, the computer didn't arrive, and the website is shut down. I think it's even possible that they made up fake sites to show good reviews as well.
