I'm from Canada. I received a SMS on my cell phone today at 3:00 p.m. from phone number 1(347)237-6221. The message said:
"Congratulations, your number made you Walmart's winner of the day! Goto
http://www.walmart.com.wonacontest.com to claim your prize! You have 24 hours to claim."
With my anti Adware/Malware on, I entered the above web address and my Adware warned me that this is a "dangerous" site and blocked me from entering. I also Googled the link, and found numerous reports of receiving the same SMS.
I know this is a scam because I have never entered into any contest in USA with my cell phone.
