I ordered Flex Seal on the phone after seeing the TV add. I just wanted 1 can to try the product. I told the female rep on the phone I wanted just the one can. They say they throw in a 2nd "free" can just pay additional P&H. I declined the 2nd can as I didn't want the additional P&H charges. The rep then told me I could upgrade to a jumbo can for an additional $4.95, I agreed to this. My total order should have been $34.89. When the order came there were 4 cans and my credit card had been billed $99.74. I called the customer service line and complained. The rep seemed totally amazed that I had talked to a person when I ordered; she said all their order lines are automated. Don't know what fluke I happened into but I ordered from person not a computer. The rep apologized that I had been double billed and said that the first rep had made a mistake that they only sell the cans in pairs. The ad is a total lie! Free means free where I come from. The ad doesn't say you HAVE to take the second can!! I was extremely angry. The rep said I could ship the products back and they would refund me for the extra set of 2 cans. They will not however refund the shipping fees of $39.80. They want you to send the product back UPS and warn you if you ship Postal (cheaper) it might take up to 3weeks to get to them thus nullifying their 30 day refund policy. So Flex Seal wants me to pay $29.97 for the product, $39.80 shipping fees (fees for products I did not order) plus another $20.00 UPS to ship the cans back. This totals $89.77!!!! THEY ARE CRAZY! I contacted my credit card company and am disputing the charges. I am having trouble finding their corporate headquarters, they will not tell me. If anyone can find this info I would greatly appreciate it. Till then I am going to contact the Federal Trade Commission and file a complaint. I am also going to contact the Attorney General in SC (their shipping address) as well my Nevada Attorney General and file complaints.
