I posted an ad on Craigslist that I am looking for a female yorkie. I received a message back that said "I have a Yorkie", and attached were 3 pictures of a yorkie puppy. I replied to the email asking how much they wanted for the pup, and where they are located. I received back a detailed email saying the person was relocated, she simply can't take care of her puppy anymore, and she just wants to see her go to a good home. All she wants is $150 and for me to pay for the shipping. This is total BS!! I could sell a yorkie locally for $500+. Anyone telling you they will ship you a dog for a fraction of what you could pay for it locally is going to take your money and give you nothing in return. BEWARE!! A dead give away that it is a scam is when they tell you the 12 week old yorkie, or younger, is house trained. Yorkies are one of the hardest breeds to house train, it takes several months. This is a lie, they do not have the dog. BEWARE!!
