I was contacted for a job by Yellogy by a resume submission on Craig'slist. They later contacted me and had me fill out paperwork which had to do more with marketing information related to their yellogy.com website. I did not give them any social security numbers or detailed personal information. I have since done research and found out that they are not a company that is actually doing any hiring. When I wrote back to the woman who contacted me for some corporate information, addresses and phone numbers, I never heard back from her. I later posted something on their facebook site, and it was removed. Now, they are not allowing anyone to post on their facebook site. They are still trying to recruit people around the country falsely.

  • Dear XXXX,

I can appreciate your apprehension and respect you level of caution especially when dealing with a .com company as in my experience they typically seem to appear out of nowhere and then sometimes even return there!

In regards to Yellogy Inc, I can confirm for you that it is a relatively new company within the ultra-fast growing social deals market space and that it has not been around for as many years as some of its competitors (like Groupon, Living Social etc.) and which is perhaps why you may be less familiar with it. However, I can assure you that similar to the aforementioned companies (who have grown to huge proportions in less than 4 years of operations) Yellogy is in fact a legitimate entity and maintains a head office location at 6399 Wilshire Blvd., PH7 Los Angeles, CA 90048, as well as, locations in Toronto and in Miami.

As Yellogy in the midst of a huge expansion, the recruitment ads that you have seen online are in reference to the new locations in cities that we are aggressively working on entering into. We hope that via this strategy we will in the next few weeks successfully assemble new teams in each of these cities and begin local operations in these strategic markets.

In any event, I wish you luck with your career search and hope you find a great position with a company in which you feel secure.

    Regards,

  • I'm sorry to hear it happened to you as well lukas!!! I hope people spread the word. This is fraud, and they are also stealing people's ideas which is theft of intellectual property. BIG PROBLEMS for them. I'm going to continue to pursue them....

  • Yes. Well, here you have the original email I sent them to which ther reply I posted earlier. I did not provide them with my creative idea. I thought about doing so, but then I stopped and wrote this:

    Dear Yellogy.

Can you please let me know of a telephone number that you can be reached at or if the company can be otherwise verified? After some research I am coming to a conclusion that Yellogy is not a tangible employer, and rather a one man operation, Mr. Igal Sudman. Also, I see you advertising jobs for the same positions in all major US cities, claiming your address is in CA and of all the Yellogy.com domain being registered in Thornhill, ON.

I will appreciate your prompt response as I would like to be safe than sorry before proceeding anywhere else with completing the questionnaire you require.

    Thank you

  • Please be aware that the people who founded this company and any other affiliated companies are SCAMMERS!!

I was employed by them shortly when they were another 'online start up', but at the time they did online auctions (and compared themselves to the likes of eBay) and SCAMMED charities and their employees. The company was later liquidated when they scammed enough money from well-known charities (likes of Ducks Unlimited, Rethink Breast Cancer, Special Olympics, etc.).

I would advise you to stay away and keep away from these corrupt individuals and their schemes.

  • Hi Sonya,
I have been trying to desperately find Joshua Gold as he screwed me out of thousands of dollars. Do you happen to have any valid address for him or any of his operations? I would be forever grateful!!!
