As with others, a pop up from a Readers Digest site congratulated me on winning travel vouchers if I replied immediately. And then it was just a roll. How lucky I was, how exciting< I had won $3000 worth of travel vouchers. It was a cold wet wintry NZ morning, I had just got off the phone from a suicidal friend, and the lure of warm sunny Florida...but wait theres more, Bahamas, a cruise and wait..even more Coata Rica...was too much.. and in a trance I followed on, gave out my credit card details and waited excitedly to hear more. After few weeks of waiting for the promised special package reality set in and I realised I had truely been scammed when I checked online. I have cancelled my credit card but the money has already gone. I have emailed the company asking for my package to be cancelled as it is less than 30days and for my money to be credited to my account. Wait and see.
