When I discovered that my ex had filed a "family" change of address AFTER I had changed my address through USPS, I found out that I needed to re-submit my new address. Being in a hurry to get this done, I used my smart phone to go to what I thought was USPS. The mobile site looked EXACTLY like the one through USPS, having gone to it previously. It wasn't until I had filled it out, and submitted my credit card that I realized it had charged me $9.95. I didn't really think too much of it, since I was more angry at the ex for his "mistake". However, when I called the number on my bank statement, I was informed that it was a "legit" charge, and that they state the charge up front. If that was the case, I would NOT have proceeded! Their mobile site had me convinced that it was "the" UPSP change of address website. Being as skeptical as I am, this is not an easy thing to do.
