I checked my bank accont status on Friday evening and noticed a charge from Fundedpayday.com, I tried to call the number listed on the account, but it was not a valid number. I have never heard of this company, nor have I applied for a payday loan. A banker friend of mine stated that my only recourse for this matter is to cancel my debit card that was used by this company and issue a new card with a new number. She stated that since this is a debit transaction, there is not really anything else I can do. If this were to happen on a credit card, then I could file a dispute and the funds could be reversed.
