  • you paid the sixty dollars for your first 100 bids. if the website didnt do this, people would back out because they did not know how to start bidding on items.

  • Hello,

My name is Blake Brown, and I am the Public Relations Coordinator at QuiBids. The $60 charge was for purchasing your first bid pack of 100 bids ($.60 x 100 = $60). Quibids does indeed have a refund policy that extends to both purchased bids and items won through auction. You can learn more about our refund policy here: http://www.quibids.com/help/faq.php?search=refund&x=0&y=0

We will be happy to refund any unused bids you may have. To receive your refund, please contact our support by either emailing our team at [email protected], or you can go here: http://www.quibids.com/help/support.php

    Thank you for your time,

    Blake Brown

  • QBIDS could be a scam. Here is why. First they do not change the "sold" items on their webpage. "Amazing deals" stay the same day after day. Second, I tracked the bid names on 1 article as they went up .01 cent at a time. 1 hr later I discovered the price went up on the item 2.40 or a bit higher. The item that they say sold on the webpage for around 32.00 was a 300.00 item retail. (they probably got it cheaper) Every 12- 15 seconds the bid goes up 1 penny. That is 240 (240 fifteen sec periods in 1 hr) X.60 (cost to bid) = 144.00 an hr. That item that sold for 32.00 received into QBIDS coffers 1800-2000 dollars in .60 cent bids. !!!! And that was only one item!!

Try tracking the items for bid. (I can copy what is live at the time on their site and save it to my desktop) You will discover that when you go back into the site, this same item does not leave off with the same bid price but starts rolling a penny at a time above the bid price. I am not impressed with these guys. If they would let you bid higher than .01 costing .60 each time you bid (6000%) they may have some creditability. I for 1 will not get caught up into clicking on an item for .60 cents and someone else around the world clicks on it as it counts down 15 seconds and at the last min clicks on again for .60, losing my place and if I want to bid again, another .60 cents. Those 100 .60 cent credits would not even last you 30 min if you clicked on the item just before the 15 sec expired.

  • Quibids is definitely a company that will scam you out of your money. The way they do it is by making you think you're going to win a bunch of high dollar items for .99 cents. You won't. I've played on Quibids and it is nearly impossible to win anything. You will definitely lose more money than you get back. They are professional swindlers and should be ashamed.
