In April of 2012 I called the Great American Readers. They stated in a text Messaige I had Won a 100.00 Dollar Credit Card for Walmart
Then they had me Listen to a recording which I couldn't understand....The Voucher was the reason I called Then the Great American Vultures started taking funds out of my account which I was only told would be a 1 Time Charge of 49.90 and from then on id be receiving free Magazine's of my Choice and could cancel anytime....I called the Second
week of May stating I wanted to cancel. the Unprofessional Guy who answered stated You agreed to pay this bill of 948.00 I said 948.00????? He say's yes your not going to pay the agreed amount I stated I never agreed to pay 948.00 Dollar's! He then went on to taunt me Your not going to pay your Bill Ma'am? You Don't pay your bills do you do all your Bill's like this? He Laughed very immature I told him I was canceling my Account and he told me this was a agreed contract and I couldn't cancel.....I received a letter in the Mail from Great American Readers and told the agent I wanted to cancel my subscription I received a total of 5 Books and was stated in the Letter I owe a Total of 948.00? For what? Magazines I called to cancel again then in the beginning of our conversation they stated they Were Great American Readers when I told them about the Payment of 948.00 that they were trying to collect then the Representative sang another tune a lot of whispering in the back ground then he came back to the phone stating that they weren't Great American Readers just attempting to collect Past Due charges I stated to him I never agreed to pay 948.00 for MAGAZINES???????? HE STATED I AGREED IN A CONVERSATION and then I was directed to I guess his boss and her Attitude was just as FUNKY as the first Guy I had spoken to earlier in the conversation she got loud indignant and told me I had Agreed and that I had to pay the 948.10 Iand late payments and could not cancel it was an agreed contract I got so mad I hung up on her what can I Do?????
