this just happened 5/21/2012 Just to clear anything up I am not prejudice. I am african american and it was an african that called me and he told me to write down this name Robert Peterson and that I have won 2.6 million dollars and a band new Mercedes. I was kinda suprise because I do go publishers clearing house, but the sound of his voice didn't sound conviencing. Being almost scam before red flags is not an option. I work in customer service over 10 years and he did not at all sound professional. What took the cake with me was when he #1 asked for my address, #2 he said they was going to pick me up and carry me to the bank. No, NO, NO, I told him he can send the check but no one is coming over taking me nowhere especially to no bank. Then he got smart and disrespectful and the true personality came out. I told him I have seen the shows when people hit the lotto and he is not Ed Mcman he better not show up at my door. #3 he could not give me my current address. I have a Mississippi number but I live in a different state. He asked me did I know where highway 50, yes living in the state by Mississippi I do. He was so persistant that I said ok if I was a scam artist I would hang up the phone because I did threaten to call the police on 3 way. I asked the name of the company and he he then said Mega Million when before it was MGM. I looked it up and all these complaints and scams came up and I read it to him. I told him he was a crazy if I thought he was going to get my name and current address. Red Flag he never asked for me or said my name, he did not know whjo he was talking to or where I lived. Lesson Never give no information not even your name. Thank God for Internet, going by that they can still you identity. Oh by the way he did mention God and he tried to curse me out but I got the upper hand, He could not give me his name or supervisor name it was a scam. These are old scams using different names. Even if a company give your name and address you have a right to ask what company it is before giving any information. Be safe America!
