Complaint 117019 Details

I noticed a $10.40 withdrawal from my checking account on May 8, 2012 made by www.GOODSPORTSITE.com. I did not make any purchase from this company nor have I ever.
When I reported it to my bank I received this message:

"My name is Thomas and I would be glad to provide you with information regarding this transaction.
The $10.40 charge on 5/8/12 was authorized on your Visa CheckCard on 5/7/12 at 3:56 AM (CT) from the merchant “www.GoodSportSite.com”. The merchant provided the correct customer name, CheckCard number, and card expiration date to obtain the authorization. The phone number provided by the merchant with the authorization is 1-269-312-7479.
If this charge is unauthorized or fraudulent, Visa requires that you first contact the merchant and attempt to resolve the issue. If you are unable to resolve this issue with the merchant, please contact us again so that we can provide steps to dispute the transaction.
XXXXX remains committed to providing you with the highest level of customer service. It was my goal to complete everything to your satisfaction today."

I did call the number supplied and spoke to a lady who instantly told me she would reverse the charge and they did so on May 14, 2012. She said the charge was for fish hooks!

My problem is that whoever did this had stolen my complete information, including my check card number and expiration date.

When researching this company online I noticed this site (http://www.scambook.com/browse/index/company/35595/www.GoodSportSite.com) where many, many other people have been scammed by this supposed company. I also noticed on their website there is NO contact information provided. I obtained it from my bank.

Please keep me updated as to what will be done about this company stealing from people.
