My husband recieved a check that said it was a cash grant award and the letter had my ss# on it. The letter stated that i had to send back $500.00 and then I would recieve a check in the mail for $10,000 by a Lisa Procter who is an independent grant broker. This is very upsetting to me because the letter has my social security number on it. Who ever is involved in this needs to be arrested. Also, I would like to know if Green Dot or Key Bank can do anything to find this scam artist. Luckily, I saw the letter before my husband cashed the check or sent her any money. I know that if something sounds too good to be true, well, you know the rest...
