I have had the same situation here in the UK i won a bidding package of £100 and thought i would give it ago to see what it was like. I should have realised it was too good to be true from yesterday they have taken out almost £70 from my account. I cannot get a refund as Ziinga have it in their t&c even though I was not made aware of this and I cannot recall signing up to platinum! I decided I had best pay the cancellation fee of £28, but even though I have paid it I got an email saying 'However, before the cancellation date of 2012-08-05 there may be additional charges incurred as part of your three months binding contract so we encourage you to keep using your account and consume your remaining bids and credits' Which means they are going to continue to charge me untill the 5th of August! Even though when I asked them before cancelling that nothing else would come out of my bank once I have paid the cancellation fee, they said NO! Ziinga were not at all helpful and made it clear that its my own fault i signed up to a membership and i will NOT get my money back. This is absolutely disgusting that these people can get away with this behaviour something needs to be done to stop them! I really do not know what to do!
