I received the same phone calls as everyone else from some guy with a 7/11 accent who said his name was.... wait for it.... ROBIN JONES!! The numbers he called from (yes I said numbers) were 92444, 92552, 92530 and 011.92530. It was the same story.... "You have qualified for a $1500 loan, all I need is to verify some information." I then asked if he was the same person calling me earlier, of course he said no. He proceeded to tell me, at 100 MPH, the loan would be broken down to a 15 month payoff, all I needed to do was pay $150 and they would release the funds. I then asked the same questions as everyone else. I could also hear the chatter in the background. I confirmed his name, asked him where he was calling from, and get this, he said "Las Vegas." I asked him again what company he was calling from and as he told me, I too Googled it and told him to go to hell, because from what I could see they were nothing but thieves running a scam. He tried to assure me they were legit, and I asked him for a number. I told him I was not interested and to never contact me again!! The nerve of some people!!! Anonymous/Los Angeles
