Unfortunately the new owners of the 200 year old Canadian retail company The Bay has teamed up with faraudsters like Memberworks to steel your money through unauthorized derpartment store credit card charges. The Fraud starts with an un solicited enrollement in a 1 month free "Trial" program through your HBC Credit card and continues by charging a monthly fee to the credit card of the unaware consumer. It is unbelieveable that the Canadian, US Federal and state governments did not do anything about this illegal business activity for so long, because an internet search reveales that these people were active on both sides of the border since early 2000. I guess it is "customer be ware" when the issue is between individuals and corporations because the governments we ellect would rather protect businesses.
