I have just been scammed like others and have just sent the following complaint to HCG, I will await their response:-

Dear Sirs

I am appalled and disgusted by your companies bahaviour. Having recently signed up for a 4.99 2 week trial of your product and carefully checking the page for anything that would imply I would be charged for any further payments, as I did not want to 'sign up' for anything until trying your product, I put in my card details and waited for my sample to arrive. It seemed clear to be from your website that no money would be taken beyond the 4.99.

The sample arrived shoddily wrapped and not for sometime, with it was small leaflet that advised that if I used your product in conjunction with a 500 calorie a day diet I would lose weight, what a ridiculous con, if I just ate 500 calories a day I would lose weight, again I thought at the time that you skirted over the only eating 500 calories on your website. I waited until I had time to use your product and fit it in with my busy lifestyle, I did not change my diet as I train hard and don't eat more than 1200 calories a day, I saw no improvement from using your product but perhaps that was because I wasn't prepared to sink to a dangerously low 500 calories a day as you suggest.

I am 5 days from returning from hospital after contracting meningitis and being in hospital seriously ill for a week, to find that you have taken £89.95 from my account, I was livid. I did not want to sign up for your product, I do not want your product, you have not made it clear that you would be taking this money and although I am sure you will be quick to point out the small print, as charlatans like you are good at doing, I want my £89.95 back into my account. I will return your con of a product in the post when it arrives (whatever it is you have sent for £89.95 I don't even know). I have stopped any further payments being taken from my bank. Also under new law they are now able to help me dispute this money you have taken, as the bank now has more power in helping victims of on line Charlatans such as yourself.

I also intend to report you to Watchdog, the media and anyone that will listen, the fact that Companies like you are trading is beyond me.

As earlier stated, I'm sure you will come up with plenty of small print that shows you are legally allowed to do what you have done, however honourable companies do not act like this.

In addition to this, what is to say that in light of the fact I used your product for 2 weeks prior to contracting meningitis that in fact your product did not aid but in fact diminished my immune system which resulted in my contracting a serious viral illness, it was afterall the only thing I had done differently to my normal routine and I am usually fit and strong.

I reiterate that I want my £89.95 returned to my bank account and will return your product when it arrives.

I look forward to your prompt response and resolution to this.
