I was sold what was told to me (and an appraisal certificate was provided to me) 2.75 F, VS2 Excellent cut diamond stud earrings. I took the earrings to an appraiser and was given a certified report showing them as 2.13 H, I1 Good quality (lowest on the market). The company won't refund my money so I am taking them to court and suing them. I have also reported them to the LAPD, Attorney General, BBB and numerous others. This company WILL get shut down. There are numerous complaints filed online about them for the same issues, they are frauding customers!! I will help these others that may have not had the time or money to pursue justice...they will pay for what they are doing.

The complain above is true. I was a customer of Jewelry by novel before but for some reason when I went to their office for an appointment, they mentioned Diamond Beat. I was initially confused and I thought I went to the wrong place for appointment. But then Jay said that this is Jewelry by novel. I went along and bought some earrings with him and to start, they were really bogus. The weight of the stone is like half of the total carat weight. They always get away with undersizing the stones and there's a lot of reviews that they always do that. The color and clarity are way off as they told me that the diamonds are VS2 but when you look at it closely you can see the scratches by the naked eye.
When I was there in there place, I also heard some other companies like Ethan Jewelry, Diamond Beat. When you look at the reviews for Ethan jewelry, they've closed down and I believed they built a new company again. These people running the business have multiple companies and let the buyers think that they're all individually owned. I think they scam a lot of people using different businesses. Stay out of this company. Ask for appointment first and if the address is the same as Jewelry by Novel, then you will get scammed. -
