Polyair Corporation attempted to obtain personal bank information from my husband. They sent a letter in the mail saying that we were a declared winner in a mega lottery conducted in the UK. The letter was postmarked from Canada and has a Home Depot logo on the envelope. The letter includes a check in the amount of $3,980.00 which looks very legitimate. It says the check is for government taxes. It says that gov taxes can't be deducted from the winnings because of their insurance policy coverage and instructs you to contact a claims agent.
