We went to a seminar for Sea & Ski vacations Vacation Club. Although we did not join the club, we were promised two round trip airline tickets anywhere in the Continental United States for $70 activation fee. Unfortunately for us, we mailed the $70.00 to Wonderland Incentives prior to reading any of these
complaints. We also received a voucher for a 8 day 7 night cruise through Sea &
Ski Vacations and once again the voucher is redeemable through Wonderland Incentives. Of course there is another activation fee but we did not do anything with that voucher as of yet. I don't know what our outcome will be for the plane tickets but based on my readings of other people's complaints it does not look too promising for us either. I am going to the BBB and see if I can report both Sea & Ski Vacations and Wonderland Incentives.

  • How is this a Sea to Ski complaint? Sea to Ski Vacations is a wholesale travel agency who rebates you for any/all travel. Their BBB record is stellar and rightly so. They do not give out travel certificates. You seem to be greatly confused with your self-posted complaint about a company called Wonderland Incentives. ??? Irreaponsible poating, unless, mal intent and mis-information was the point.

  • Well Stavros doesn't look like you have your information straight because I did lodge a formal complaint against Sea to Ski Vacations through the BBB of Washington, D. C. and Sea to Ski Vacations admitted their wrong doings and not only wrote a check for the $70 to me but also apologized for their wrong doings. Sea to Ski Vacations works with outside vendors such as Wonderland Incentives. Sea to Ski Vacations sends out reps to various locations to recruit people for their vacation club promising them false incentives such as the ones we received. So before you falsely accuse someone of their allegations next time, do your research!

  • Sue; no research needed. You really don't know the facts, as I've been intimately involved with this complaint from day one and your postings show literally no gratitude for the solution that actually made amends. I ask you not to be narcisistic about this and try to understand what I'm saying. You're a bit confused and apparently, the entity which HELPED YOU resolve this issue is an "A" rated BBB company that you are trying to maliciously hurt and maintains that rating by assiting frustrated consumers such as yourself. After 6 years and almost 10,000 members, you are 1 of 3 complaints on the internet; the other 2 being disguntled employees fabricating complaints. Sea to Ski does not have "vendors" like Wonderland and they certainly do not promise incentives, EVER. They are a wholesale travel agency, a great one at that; nothing more.

The simple fact that you lodged a complaint with the Washington DC BBB office shows that your complaint is NOT with Sea to Ski, as that is not the BBB office they are listed with, not even close. No one at Sea to Ski ever admitted wrongdoing, simply beacuse there was none. Someone may have tried to represent themsleves as Sea to Ski, but you're thousands of miles away; that's obvious from your complaint in Wahington DC. I know this, as I work with the NY company that you originally met with. You had the check cut from us out of our DC office with Sea to Ski's prompting and assistance on your behalf.

Once again, you are maliciously trying to hurt the company that helped you and I felt obligated to defend them, as they are a great company which happens to be family owned and operated. Please don't feel the need for the last word. Your silence would be gratitude enough.
