Check was auto generated by ProTek ID Ph: 866-304-2401 who I called for a refund. They are a third party customer service company and would not give me the name of the original company. They would provide me with the address 25 Locust Suite 304, Champlain NY 12919 and stated I will get a refund debited back into my account in approximately 21 days, and to watch the account for the refund. I have reported it to my bank as a fraudulant check and will have to close my account and open a new one.
Internet search by the address (not ID) turned up a similar scam.
The agent at ProTek stated that this was a new account he had and the paperwork showed they talked to me on the 3rd of August and I approved this charge, I wasn't even in town during that time, and have no record of a call received on my cell phone on the 3rd of August.
