I purchased a 6 month supply of FrontLine Plus for Dogs 0-22 lbs on March 20, 2012 from the company's online web site. After I ordered the Frontline, I was sent an auto response from the company stating that they had received my order.
I expected delivery of the Frontline I ordered within seven to ten business days. On March 30, 2012, I had not received the product, nor any communication as to why my order was not sent. I called the 800 number on the company's website on March 30, 2012. The number I called was 888-524-7142. I received a voice message that all operators were busy helping other customers, and that I could leave a voice mail. I hung up and redialed the number again. I got the same message. I left a message asking why I had not received the merchandise that I had ordered. I left my phone number for a call back. I also told them I had checked their Wordpress website and that it said that my order was “awaiting dispatch.” I never received a call back on any of the voice mail messages I left. I tried calling the same phone number on March 31, 2012. I got the same message. At this time, when I left a message, I told them I wanted my order canceled if it wasn't sent out, and I wanted the amount refunded back to my credit card. I never received any callback or email from the company.
I called one last time on April 3, 2012. I told them I wanted my order canceled, and that I was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau if no one contacted me about this issue. I never received a return response from anyone – either by phone OR by email.
On March 31, 2012, I sent an email to the company asking them to cancel my order and refund the purchase price back to my MasterCard. I told them I had checked at their Wordpress web site and that it said that my order was "awaiting dispatch." I told them I wanted my order cancelled. When I sent the email, I received an Auto response that my email was received and that their usual response period was 24-48 hours. I never heard anything else from anyone at the company.
On April 4, 2012, I sent another email stating that I was placing a dispute on my credit card against the payment I had made for the product and that I had never received. I again told them that I wanted my order cancelled. To make sure that they received the email I sent, I sent another one out – essentially saying the same thing. I also stated I was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau. After I sent out the SECOND email, I received an auto response exactly like the one I had received before, saying that it takes 24-48 hours for them to get back to me. As of April 10, 2012, I still had not received a response from them.
I reported them to the Better Business Bureau April 5, 2012. The company is NOT accredited by the Better Business Bureau and they have had numerous complaints lodged against them. It also said that the company appeared to be out of business, and that repeated calls that were made to the company were never answered and there was no orwarding telephone number where anyone could reach them.
I checked to see if the company had a web page on Facebook. They do. There were numerous others who commented on not receiving the products they ordered, and about not hearing back from anyone regarding the purchases they did not receive. I sent copies of the complaints on their Facebook page to my credit card company to help with my dispute.
On April 5, 2012, I filed a complaint to the Florida Attorney General's Office concerning this whole matter. I also submitted a copy of the complaint that I emailed to the Florida State Attorney General's Office to my credit card company.
I left several messages for Customer Support on http://1800frontline.com/ web site. Every time I went to the web site, it said that the Customer Support live support was off line. I did not keep copies of the messages I submitted directly to the site, but I submitted several. I even posted a negative comment about the quality of the service I was receiving. When I clicked to send the comment, a message appeared saying that “all comments would be moderated before posting.” I thought this was odd, since companies usually have customer reviews posted.
Since I submitted copies of this information to my credit card company, I have received credit for the charge. They told me this is just temporary, as the company has 45 days to respond to the complaint. After 45 days, the credit return will be permanent.
I just checked their company web site on Friday, April 22nd. It looks like the web site was taken down because the domain is for sale. I also tried unsuccessfully to access their Wordpress web site to see if my order was still "awaiting dispatch." The web page would not load. I kept getting a server error.
Meanwhile, if you keep checking the company's Facebook site, they keep deleting the negative comments and inquiries that people post, asking where their products are.
I have sent a complaint to Facebook, asking them to PLEASE remove this bogus scam site from their pages. I hope they do this soon. The thieves running this scam are robbing millions of innocent people! If there is a class action law suit instituted against these people, I would like to be included in this.
Thank you.
