I recieved a letter from the collection agency stating that my business owed $774.95. I have been scammed by this same collection agency before and was advised by the BBB NOT to pay them any money, unfortunately my check had already been cashed. This time they will get no money from me. I know for a fact that I didn't agree to any services. And if Local US pages was a legitimate agency then why didn't they ever send me a bill or a past due notice? Why didn't they contact me by phone to tell me my account was past due? The collection agency told me over the phone to accept that I made a mistake and got trapped and to just pay it and move on. Not gonna happen. Don't be bullied! The BBB advised me that ACA Recovery is a collection agency that is owned by the same phone book company that alledges you owe them money. How do these people sleep at night?! I'm just trying to keep my doors open in this awful economy and these people are trying to bully me in to paying them money. Hog wash!!
