Around the first week in July, I had received several emails from Prado E Cigarette company offering a " Free Trial Kit ". I opened the email and clicked on their web site. I wanted to try the E cigarette to try to quit somking. I did not see anything on the site that stated that they would be sending me a complete start up kit or that they would be charging me $149.90 for the kit. The only charge that I was aware that they would be taking from my credit card were shipping charges. There was a problem on their web site and when the kit was delivered it was two kits. So I thought they were free and kept them. Around the end of July I had two charges of $149.90 hit on my credit card. At that time I contacted the credit card company and disputed the charges. I also tried to call Prado but did not receive any answer but was on hold for a long time. At that point I sent an email and let them know that I was not aware of this amount of money being charged to my credit card and that I wanted someone to contact me regarding the issue. To date I have not been contacted. Today I checked my credit card charges online and discovered two more charges for $69.90 for what....I don't know. My credit card company told me that they would put a stop payment on their charges but it can take up to thirty days for it to take effect. So far in one month I have been charged $439.60 on my credit card. I am 66 years old and am a single person. I cannot afford for this to continue. In my email I also stated that I would return their product if they would advise me of their address, and of course...I have not received a reply to date.

  • You're not alone in this. I had the same thing with Ignite Cig and Emerald Lux. I had to make a claim at the bank that any additional charges or "out of the ordinary" charges were to be flagged. I eventually acquired all of the telephone numbers next to the items on my bank statement and cleared it all up. If you still want to find a trustworthy company for electronic cigarettes, I found one that is well-worth the price and the product is great too. I promise I don't work for this company, but I know how important it is to some people to want to quit or change over like I have. And I went through hell before I found a straight company to deal with. It's Blu Cig, blu.com. Seriously, no complaints from me there and no crap charges. I'll post this same message for the others on here as well.
