Complaint 101368 Details

I ordered the advertised FREE TRIAL of NutraScience MaxTrim + patches. They took weeks to arrive. There was absolutely no weight loss and so I decided to post back 41 tablets from the original consignment and as I was about to, the 2nd consignment arrived. I did not understand why and really thought they had messed up and duplicated the order.

As I already knew these tablets had no efficacy I packaged up all of the tablets and sent them back to NutraScience and requested a refund and immediate cancellation because I noticed £75 (£37.50 per item) had been taken from my credit card account.

They duly refunded £75 and I thought that was the end of the matter, but I was very perturbed when I discovered on 19 March another £75 had been taken from my account.

From what I have been reading on the internet this seems par for the course of this very duplicious company.

I have been in constant contact with them the past 2 days requesting an immediate refund but was told the £75 they refunded was for the 2nd consignment but the recent £75 has been taken in payment for the original consignment because I did not return them within 30 days of the order being placed. I have disputed this point and now wonder what is the next step to take, but I will not let it rest.

I would really like to see an end to the way this company advertise their FREE TRIAL only to start taking regular amounts of £75 out of people's accounts. I shall terminate my credit card and start a new account to stop this.

PLEASE BE WARNED everyone who may be thinking of taking this offer up. There are many, many stories on the internet which should warn you off this company.
